What Has WHERA Done?

Here are some of the successes WHERA has helped achieve over recent years:

Full Fibre Broadband

By representing the whole estate, WHERA helped bring forward the Full Fibre Broadband installation for the majority of the roads by about a decade.

Victorian Stink-Pipe

WHERA helped get the corroded Victorian stink-pipe (between The Rise and Garth Road) replaced.

Street Lighting

WHERA helped reintroduce the street lighting at the southern end of Tonbridge Road.

Parking Restrictions

WHERA helped introduce parking restrictions during Covid lockdowns to help control the visitor parking to Knole Park and the surrounding amenities.

Woodland TPO

WHERA helped place a TPO on the threatened woodland between Weald Road and Brattle Wood.

Road Sweeping

WHERA campaigned to reinstate the regular road sweeping and storm drain flushing to reduce flooding.

Potholes

WHERA has helped get potholes dealt with.

Salt Bins

WHERA got two new salt bins installed and all neighbourhood salt bins refilled.
