The plan aims to meet SDC’s housing target of 1,149 new homes annually (a 63% increase from previous figures).
The plan includes identifying development sites (evaluating suitable “grey belt” areas), mandating for a 10% biodiversity net gain in any new development and gaining community engagement via consultation.
