Amenities Update – Water Outages

Following water outages in September last year we also had a significant outage over Christmas and several smaller localised issues since then. On top of the major issues South East Water (SEW) have had in Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells, we can assume that further outages are likely in the future.

At the occurrence of the last major outage (mid-January) we engaged with Laura Trott MP so that she could include the details in a broader letter of complaint she sent to SEW which also contributed to a wider complaint raised in Parliament by several MPs. Unfortunately, this won’t change the immediate issues. We will continue to report major outages via the WhatsApp Community to keep residents informed. You can use the link provided at the bottom of this newsletter to keep informed.

For those that are unable to collect bottled water during outages, you can add yourself to the Priority Services Register with SEW and in any future similar events, they may be able to deliver bottled water to you directly. To register call 0800 952 4000 or use this link: https://www.southeastwater.co.uk/help/priority-services/
