On October 29th 2024 one of our residents helped organise a public meeting with DI Mark Stubbersfield to discuss an apparent recent uptick in crime in the neighbourhood.
The meeting was well attended by residents and a positive discussion was had with DI Stubbersfield and PC Tom Costin (one of two PCs assigned to the Kippington Ward of which we are a part). While the fears of residents were acknowledged, it was made clear that our neighbourhood is comparatively safe and low in crime compared to many other nearby wards.
